Weather for S60 - Free Weather Application for Symbian S60

Weather for S60 is a free weather application available for Symbian S60 3rd edition mobile phones from the original release to FP2. The application is one of the most comprehensive and feature rich weather applications we have seen in a long time and on top of everything it is available for free download, yes it is a freeware.

Weather for S60 is really impressive, although being a simple application which downloads and displays reports about the current weather conditions for about 6000+ locations all over the world the app is very easy to use and manage and even there is a GPS enabled version.

The weather reports are provided by the United States National Weather Service, and are in a format called METAR.  The reports themselves are really small (a few hundred bytes usually) so they shouldn't run up your data usage too much even for those users with a low data plan by their provider. For all other including Wi-Fi enabled phones this app consumes so little bandwidth that you will hardly notice it is running. We have tested it for a day and we must say that Weather for S60 is one of the best weather applications we have seen in a very long time.
