Fake Nokia N97 - Watch out!

Fake Nokia N97

Just a few weeks after the official release of the Nokia N97, fakes started to appear on eBay and other online stores. So watch out! It seems that in China they can make a replica on whatever they want and it seems like nobody cares. As you can see from the picture above all the Nokia branding is on the phone, except it does not have anything to do with Nokia or the real Nokia N97. The fake Nokia N97 is called Nokia N97i, it might confuse some people, but the phone actually looks like a real Nokia, they even managed to work out something for the menu to be S60 like. Although this phone looks a lot like the original there are some differences like the audio jack and charger jack on the side while on the real N97 the audio jack is located on the top and the charging is via USB. Take a look at our gallery bellow to see what the N97 replica looks like.

It was a matter of time, there is nothing that those guys can not copy and lets say the fake Nokia N97s are just what the market wants. People want to keep up the image of having a expensive phone without actually buying one.

This phone looks quite real to me, it can be easily mistaken for the real N97.

HAHAHAAH :((( Just bought one 5 hours ago, paid 1000RBM for it, it has dual SIM, but CAM and Handwriting do not work... those bastards gave me the headset but ain't anything to plug it into, bluetooth works, it looks great, N97, not N97i... Ho yeah and I cannot find the recording menu. Well this is China, I'll be back tomorrow a.m. and trade it for anything working at the same value!

My bad - After playing with it for a coupe of hours, I can now declare that this 1000-RBM "fake" goes a long way! Recording, CAM, VIDEO, Bluetooth, Audio, and dual SIM Cards all work fine!
